Daniel sealed up until the time of the End

The book of Daniel is/was sealed up UNTIL knowledge is increased and people run to and fro… Daniel 12:4,10.
The gap theory between 69th and 70th week is hundreds of years old when horse and buggy was still the norm for travel, and it took a century for knowledge to double. Today knowledge doubles in 2 years, and we travel to and fro by every means possible. As you can see the book of Daniel was still sealed up when the gap theory was invented.
Today the 70th week is totally fulfilled. Titus made a covenant with the Roman Empire to squelch the Jewish rebellion in 66 AD. This started a 7 year war (one week) ending with the fall of Masada in 73 AD. This war is called the Roman-Jewish War or Jewish Uprising. In the middle of that week/war Jerusalem was decimated and the temple destroyed ENDING the daily sacrifices and offerings. They are ended today. There is no Scripture to indicate that they will ever return.
As a result of the assumption and speculation surrounding Daniel’s 70th week we have the false unscriptural idea that the great tribulation is a 7 year period of time. We have the false idea that there is a mid point in the great tribulation in which the temple will again be destroyed and the daily sacrifices will again end. There is absolutely no Scripture to support this idea. Today the temple does not exist. Today the temple is not built with hands, and God’s people are the temple of the Holy Spirit. A physical temple may or may not ever be rebuilt. There is a temple that is measured in Revelation, but it’s nature of physical verse spiritual is not indicated. Not to mention… it appears to have been measured in heaven.
Surrounding the nature of the destruction of the temple, Jesus warns, “Let no man deceive you.” Matt. 24, Mark 13, Luke 21. Yet today we have a HUGE assumption, speculation, opinion, and conjecture mainstream thought that Daniel’s 70th week is somehow futuristic with a huge gap of time and no Scriptural support of the idea.
The idea is important for those pushing a separation of the Jews and the church into two bodies of Christ Jesus. This is contrary to the Word of God…Eph 2:10-15, not to mention that there is only one body in Christ Jesus. The unpleasant tribulation gets pushed off on the Jews and the pleasant rose colored ideas are grabbed for themselves, such as the rapture. The truth often hurts, and any ideas that might cause a little pain and discomfort are rejected. Note the sole characteristic of the “stony” soil in the parable of the sower… it has the lack of mindset for tribulation and persecution..Mar, 4:18. They simply didn’t sign up for that!
What is truly amazing is that this false gap of time between the 69th and 70th week is foundational in major doctrines. How interesting that such major doctrines are built upon assumptions that cause divisions in the body of Christ. We are told to avoid such speculations…1 Tim. 2:23.

  1. Seven is the number of completion; Seven days of creation, Seven thousand Years of Mankind, Seventy Sevens (Jubilees) to finish transgression and to anoint the Most Holy. Seventy times seven to forgive. Seven Seals to reveal the Mystery of God, Seven Bowls Judgement completion at the end of the Great Tribulation, Seven Trumpet Judgment completion at the end of the Millennium.

The last seven of Daniel 9 is half complete. The first half was fulfilled when Jesus Christ started His ministry and ends for 3.5 years. It was then all the sacrifices were abolished because He is the ultimate sacrifice. All the sacrifices that the Jews practiced from then on is not acceptable anymore to God. The abomination that causes the desolation was the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. What could be more abominable than that? Jesus the Son of God crucified at the wing of the Temple.

The last 3.5 years will be fulfilled either from the start of the Great Tribulation up to the Second Advent, or in my own view of the prophetic timeline, it will be at the end of the Millennium.

We know that there will still be a rebellion that will occur at the very end of the millennium, satan’s last ditch effort to deceive again. So there will still be a transgression that will happen, so with this, all power, dominion, kingdoms, and even death and hades was not yet destroyed and was not yet handed over by Jesus Christ to God, only then Jesus Christ will be anointed as King of kings and Lord of Lords. If you would look at the scriptures explaining about the great tribulation and the second advent, you would notice that the declaration of the heavens and the saints are all about salvation only.

If you will consider studying and analyzing the Seventh Seal as the Millennium and the Trumpets, that it happened at the end of it, only then my view would be more understandable. But yet it still needs more discernment and more backing-up of Scriptures not just depending on logic and common sense.

The keywords to check in Revelation are the following:
    1. The Angel of the Abyss, Apollyon, Abaddon, the beast from the bottomless pit – Satan coming out from the Abyss in Rev. 20
    2. Time for Judging the Dead – happens only at the White Throne Judgement
    3. 200 Million Army – Gog and Magog of Rev. 20 and Ezekiel 38 (39 happens at Armageddon the key is the great supper for the carrion birds)
    4. Half Hour Silence in Heaven is a thousand years – 1 John 2:18 talks about the last hour and the antichrist, considering the last hour is 2,000 years from his time up to the time the antichrist will appear in our time.
    5. Those who does not have the seal of God on their foreheads – The Saints and the 144,000 have the seal of God on their foreheads and lived on through the millennium.
